13-ish Days until I begin applying for JavaScript Developer Positions! In month 5 of my 5–6 month plan to become a web developer.

Learned about MongoDB, the difference between noSQL and SQL, and the large overview of databases today.

Before that I spent 3 solid hours trying to deploy my “twitter-like” app from yesterday, but had no luck. I tried reading documentation, youtube help, Heroku, “Now”, and just couldn’t get it to work.

If you are someone knowledgeable in this area and reading this please drop a comment or suggestion below, it would be much appreciated! The tech stack I used for the app was NodeJS, MongoDB, and JavaScript.

Went through some overview videos and short videos on databases and MongoDB on youtube.

Also took a break today and went to Headlands Beach State Park here along Lake Erie. They had a kite festival there today. A great way to relax and get away from the computer for a bit!
