…so the guy in the picture may be focusing a bit too intently… but straight to the point. Today’s hour of practice was fairly focused. I did not dose off halfway through like yesterday, however I believe my focus level can become more disciplined. I find it difficult to stop my mind from wandering once in a while. Here is the breakdown of today’s accomplishments in the JavaScript Book I have been working out of:

Chapter 69: Completed the coding questions related to Objects. This chapter covered the fundamentals of how to set up an object and it’s properties in JS.

Chapter 70: Dealt with how to reassign values to object properties, delete objects, and text whether certain properties exist within an object.

Chapter 71: Calling methods on objects. I learned that a function is the same as a method. When a function is used in conjunction with an object it becomes known as a method. Methods can exist within an objects property set.

Objects as a whole are a new concept for me in coding, so identify how to correctly set up the syntax is tripping me up a bit here in the beginning. I believe with more practice the syntax of objects will become second nature.

3 hours down, only 9,997 hours to go! If you enjoyed this article be sure to clap it out, follow, subscribe, etc. , mainly etc.

I am beginning to organize what I would like to work on alongside this JS book. So far the plan is as follows:

Begin learning jQuery basics through Code Acacemy.

I may be trying out this beginners jQuery course also.

Within the next few days I plan on beginning a weekly youtube vlog that sums up the practice sessions I write about in detail on this blog. If this is something that is of interested be sure to leave a message in the comments below.
